Vehicle into River |

On Saturday January 31st at approximately 2245 hours units were alerted for a vehicle in the water at the Monocacy Boulevard boat ramp to the Monocacy River. Units arrived to find a sedan partially submerged near the end of the ramp. C2-2 arrived on scene to find single vehicle in the water. C2-2 established command. Q11 arrived and utilized their aerial ladder to extend out over to the vehicle to check for occupants. A249 arrived and staged with A29. The vehicle was found to be unoccupied. Command had Trooper 3 conduct a downstream search for any victims with their infrared camera and was negative. Command then turned the scene over to Frederick police and unit went in service. |
